Skrill is an online banking entity that makes it possible to carry out financial transactions online.
First founded in the United Kingdom as Moneybookers in July of 2001, the company received a rebranding in 2011 adopting the name Skrill. The rebranding process was completed halfway through 2013.

Skrill Prepaid MasterCard
Skrill also provide their own prepaid credit card service namely the Skrill Prepaid MasterCard. Their card can be used for online and offline purchases worldwide and it is accepted at more than 35 million outlets and 1.9 million ATMs.
The application process is simple and there is no commitment or credit check necessary. The annual cost to use the service is just EUR 10 per year. The fee is deducted from your Skrill balance annually.
